Welcome to SD Sip & Social ("SD Sip & Social," "we," "our," or "the Community"). By purchasing a membership, accessing community platforms, attending events, or participating in community activities, you agree to these Membership Terms & Community Guidelines.

  • Members who choose to host events do so voluntarily.

    Hosts are not employees, representatives, agents, or contractors of SD Sip & Social.

    Hosts are responsible for:

    • Providing accurate event information

    • Communicating changes to attendees

    • Following applicable venue rules

    • Acting respectfully and responsibly

    SD Sip & Social is not responsible for the actions, decisions, conduct, or statements of individual hosts.

  • Members participate in events voluntarily and at their own risk.

    SD Sip & Social does not conduct criminal background checks, screenings, investigations, or ongoing monitoring of members.

    Members are responsible for exercising their own judgment regarding participation in events and interactions with other members.

    If a member feels unsafe, they should immediately leave the situation and contact appropriate authorities if necessary.

  • Participation in social events, dining events, outdoor activities, fitness activities, travel activities, and other gatherings involves inherent risks.

    By participating, members voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release SD Sip & Social and its owners, organizers, volunteers, hosts, and affiliates from claims arising from participation to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

    Unused memberships, missed events, scheduling conflicts, vacations, relocations, personal circumstances, dissatisfaction with attendance levels, or failure to participate do not qualify for refunds.

    Memberships renew automatically according to the selected plan unless canceled before the renewal date.

    Members are responsible for managing their own renewal settings.

  • Membership fees do not include food, beverages, parking, admission fees, transportation, gratuities, lodging, or personal purchases unless specifically stated.

    Members remain solely responsible for their own expenses.

  • SD Sip & Social reserves the right to suspend, remove, deny, or terminate membership at any time for violations of these Terms or for conduct deemed inconsistent with the safety, values, or well-being of the community.

    Membership termination decisions are final.

    No refund will be provided for memberships terminated due to violations of these Terms.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, SD Sip & Social shall not be liable for:

    • Personal injury

    • Property damage

    • Theft or loss of personal belongings

    • Member disputes

    • Acts or omissions of venues

    • Acts or omissions of hosts

    • Acts or omissions of other members

    • Transportation-related incidents

    • Event cancellations or schedule changes

  • SD Sip & Social may modify membership benefits, pricing, event offerings, technology platforms, community structure, guidelines, policies, and procedures at any time.

  • By purchasing a membership, attending events, participating in community discussions, or otherwise engaging with SD Sip & Social, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Membership Terms & Community Guidelines.

  • SD Sip & Social is a community-driven social club. While the host coordinates the group, schedules events, manages reservations when applicable, and facilitates communication, the host will not attend every event.

    Many events are designed to encourage members to connect directly with one another and build friendships independently within the community. Members are encouraged to engage, communicate, and coordinate with fellow attendees before and during events.

    For RSVP-based events, attendance confirmations may be requested prior to the event to help finalize reservations and planning. However, RSVP counts are estimates only and attendance cannot be guaranteed. Members understand that last-minute cancellations, schedule changes, and no-shows may occur.

    SD Sip & Social does not guarantee a specific number of attendees at any event, nor does it guarantee that all individuals who RSVP will ultimately attend. Event experiences may vary based on participation levels, venue capacity, weather, and other factors outside the host's control.

  • Members must be at least 21 years of age.

    SD Sip & Social reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend, or terminate membership at its sole discretion.

    Membership is personal and may not be shared, transferred, sold, assigned, or used by another person.

  • SD Sip & Social is an active, in-person social community designed to foster friendship, connection, and shared experiences among members.

    Membership is intended for individuals seeking to actively participate in the community.

    Membership does not guarantee friendships, attendance levels, event availability, introductions, business opportunities, dating opportunities, or specific outcomes.

  • To maintain an active and engaged community, members are expected to:

    • Participate respectfully within the community

    • Attend events when reasonably able

    • Engage in a positive and supportive manner

    • Honor commitments made through event RSVPs

    SD Sip & Social reserves the right to review memberships that demonstrate prolonged inactivity or repeated disregard for community expectations.

  • Accurate RSVPs are essential to the success of community events.

    Members agree to:

    • RSVP honestly

    • Cancel as soon as possible if plans change

    • Update RSVP status within the community platform

    • Respect venue reservations and host planning efforts

    Repeated no-shows, habitual last-minute cancellations, or behavior that negatively impacts events may result in warnings, membership review, suspension, or termination.

  • Unless expressly stated otherwise, SD Sip & Social events are for active members only.

    Guests, plus-ones, family members, partners, children, and non-members may not attend community events without prior written approval.

    Members may not share event details, locations, access links, reservation information, or member-only communications with non-members.

  • Members agree to contribute to a respectful, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

    The following conduct is prohibited:

    • Harassment, intimidation, or bullying

    • Discrimination based on protected characteristics

    • Threatening, abusive, aggressive, or hostile behavior

    • Repeated disruptive conduct

    • Defamation, gossip campaigns, or targeted attacks against members

    • Sexual harassment or unwanted advances

    • Stalking or repeated unwanted contact

    • Retaliation against members who raise concerns

    • Unsolicited sales pitches, recruiting, spam, or excessive self-promotion

    • Recording, photographing, or sharing private information without consent

    • Conduct that creates an unsafe or uncomfortable environment

  • Members are expected to respect the privacy of others.

    Personal information shared within the community should remain confidential unless explicit permission is provided.

    Members may not:

    • Share screenshots of private member conversations

    • Publish member information without consent

    • Use member information for solicitation or marketing purposes

    • Share private discussions outside the community

    Violation of privacy expectations may result in removal from the community.

  • Community events may occasionally be photographed or shared on SD Sip & Social social media channels.

    Members who do not wish to appear in photos should notify the organizer in advance.

  • SEvent Reservations, Cancellations & Refunds

    Submitting an RSVP is a request to attend an event and does not guarantee a reservation. Attendance is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email from SD Sip & Social.

    Members who reserve a spot are expected to honor their commitment. If you are unable to attend, you must cancel your RSVP at least 24 hours before the scheduled event. Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the event are considered late cancellations. Failure to cancel before the event and failure to attend is considered a no-show.

    Repeated late cancellations or no-shows negatively impact other members and event planning. SD Sip & Social reserves the right to temporarily or permanently limit a member's ability to RSVP for future events if a pattern of late cancellations or no-shows occurs.

    Membership fees are non-refundable. Membership provides access to community benefits and membership features but does not guarantee admission to or attendance at any specific event.

    Unless otherwise stated on the event page, Event Pass purchases and other individual event purchases are non-refundable. If SD Sip & Social cancels a paid event, attendees may receive either a refund or an event credit, at the sole discretion of SD Sip & Social.

    SD Sip & Social reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, combine, relocate, or modify any event due to low attendance, venue availability, host availability, weather conditions, safety concerns, vendor requirements, or other unforeseen circumstances. Certain events may require a minimum number of attendees to proceed. If the minimum attendance requirement is not met, SD Sip & Social may cancel, reschedule, combine, or modify the event.

    To protect the privacy of attendees and reservations with our venue partners, the exact meeting location may be provided only to confirmed attendees. Event venues, schedules, hosts, and event details are subject to change without prior notice.

    SD Sip & Social reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or revoke any reservation or event attendance if necessary to comply with membership requirements, venue capacity, safety considerations, these Terms & Conditions, or the successful operation of an event.

    SD Sip & Social is not responsible for any travel expenses, parking fees, accommodations, rideshare costs, childcare expenses, lost wages, or any other incidental or consequential costs incurred as a result of an event cancellation, rescheduling, modification, or a member's inability to attend.

    By submitting an RSVP or purchasing an Event Pass, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions, the Cancellation Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines.
